The
Slippery Rock Women's Soccer team get ready to take on IUP this
homecoming weekend. Kickoff will begin at
1pm. They sadly will be traveling to
Indiana,
PA during this exciting weekend on Slippery Rock University campus. However, they are chasing a win to improve their record to
10-3-2. They are currently on a
4 game win streak and hope to improve that statistic. WSOC was able to
defeat ranked
Mercyhurst on Wednesday the 18th. They hope to carry that same momentum and energy into the weekend.
Morgan Sarver a Sophomore on the team is looking to keep her point streak alive by either picking up an assist or a goal in their game this weekend. She recently won
athlete of the week by scoring two goals and picking up two assists in their past two games. Watch out for freshmen Leah Allman.
