SRU Men's soccer vs UPJ Men's soccer
The SRU Men's Soccer team took on University of Pitt Johnstown yesterday and was able to win with the score resulting in 3-0. Due to the weather conditions, the game was moved from UPJ's home grass field to a nearby high school turf field. The boys were leading 1-0 going into halftime with a goal from Junior captain Luke Gildea. The wind, rain and cold did not stop the SRU Men's soccer team from pulling ahead burying two more goals in short time during the second half. Both goals were scored by Spanish midfielder Aitor Jorde. The boys take on Gannon on Wednesday the 25th.
It was a great win for the boys, even with the messy weather conditions. Congrats to Luke on the goal!!!
